The Food

Brooke and I had so many amazing meals in Paris. For those that don't care about food, please feel free to pass up this post. This is more for our friends who plan to travel to Paris and want to eat a ton of amazing meals.

Our best meal of the trip was at L'Epicure, which is the main restaurant at the Bristol Hotel, one of the nicest hotels in the city. We had an 8-course meal that included cheese plates and 2 desserts. It paired well with a Montrachet Chardonnay from Burgundy. The service was unreal (multiple escorts to the bathroom) This was easily the nicest meal I’ve ever had in my life. Can you believe that shirt is what I wore? So embarrassed.

Le Ami Jean was a bit of a throw-back meal right the foot of the Eiffel Tower. It felt a bit like eating dinner in medieval French. Lot's of wild game, some good wine, and finished with its signature dessert - rice pudding. It also had some fairly interesting art.
